Thomas Schüler Photography

Born in 1965 and photographing since the early 80‘s, the main subjects are landscapes, nature, and travel photography. While it was mainly b&w pictures in the analogue days, the colour came back after making the switch from analogue to digital a few years ago. The computer as a tool to explore the potential of the picture and to carve out what was meant when the picture was taken has been a great extension of the toolset. But still, where no precious film is wasted and a lot of errors can be „fixed“ by software, the intention to take shots that have a meaning, and to think about that before pressing the shutter, is still the main issue.

Due to time constraints the travel and reportage sections are empty for the moment; hopefully that will change over the next few weeks.
